I am a dedicated student pursuing my bachelor’s degree while balancing the responsibilities of parenting and community involvement. With a 3.75 GPA and a clear commitment to academic excellence, I am preparing for a future career in bookkeeping and accounting, with plans to pursue graduate studies. My background in hospitality and event management has strengthened my organizational, communication, and leadership skills, which now support my transition into the financial field. - Career goal
I am pursuing a career in bookkeeping and accounting, with the goal of working remotely to support both my professional growth and my family. I plan to build expertise in financial recordkeeping, tax preparation, and small‑business accounting, with long‑term aspirations to work for organizations such as H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt. My focus is on developing strong technical skills, earning relevant certifications, and creating a stable, flexible career that aligns with my strengths in organization, accuracy, and client service.

I am exploring graduate‑level pathways that support my long‑term goals in accounting. While I may pursue a master’s degree in the future, my current focus is preparing for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, which requires advanced coursework

I enjoy creative writing and am currently developing an independent press focused on authentic storytelling and emerging voices. I spend much of my free time drafting essays, exploring publishing strategies, and building the foundation for future book projects. I also enjoy reading, learning new skills, and engaging with my local community.
