As a driven BSBA student specializing in Accounting at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I am dedicated to developing a strong foundation in accounting information systems, reporting, and business strategy. With one year left until my anticipated graduation in May 2027, I am eager to apply my academic knowledge through hands-on experiences, internships, and collaborative projects. I am passionate about learning and am excited to use my skills to contribute to dynamic teams and make a meaningful impact in accounting. I am continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow; needless to say, I am enthusiastic about the next steps in my professional journey.

Goals and interests

Career goal: I am currently seeking an accounting internship. I hope to find a good fit that will transition into a job offer, if I'm lucky!
Graduate school interests: Yes, I am interested in graduate school. However, my current focus is on finishing my bachelor's degree. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was close to finishing my Master of Science in Nursing when I decided it was okay to pursue other interests: accounting! I mention this because it speaks to how much I value education; education is a privilege, and I intend on taking full advantage of it as long as I can.
Outside the classroom: I love gardening and golfing during the warmer months. At times, when it is cold, I do simulator golf to keep swinging. During the winter months, I enjoy skiing in Colorado. Aside from that, I'm an involved aunt to two beautiful little girls. I am an amateur pianist and look forward to continuing lessons after I graduate; in general, I enjoy learning new things.
