A person who is a civic leader in both the school and community. This award recognizes students who put in outstanding hours and also have patriotic contributions.

This award is given to individual who participate in 100 hours of community service thought the year.

This award is given to individual who participate in 40 hours of community service thought the year.

Goals and interests

Career goal: Secondary-Education
Graduate school interests: I hope to attend college one day and become a teacher.
Outside the classroom: I love to read and fish during the summer. Also, we usually go camping once school ends as I love having campfires and hiking in the woods.

I test and help 3-5th grader with their homework as well as watch them during free time to ensure they are safe.

As a student ambassador I had the privilege to sit down with the accreditation team for a dinner. I was able to meet with them and talk to them about the school and my goals for the future as well as get to know them.

I had the opportunity to attend the Mental Wellness Student Leadership Summit project prep and attendance where I would plan and obtain knew ideas for HOPE Squad, an organization in our school that shows awareness for mental help.

I had the opportunity to volunteer at Winter Wonderland in Marshfield though Columbus Student Council and Mission Club. For Winter Wonderland I would collect money and food from people who drove though.

The student council at Columbus puts a sweat treat sale in order to support the Columbus Catholic Schools Spirit of Christmas. For these sales I would sell treats during lunches in order to support the families in need.

I helped out at the 50/50 raffles Columbus put on, whether it was for Quiz Bowl, Student Council, or for members in the Marshfield community who were struggling I would sell raffle tickets at Basketball games in order to help the community.

Being a HOPE Squad member allowed me to learn about mental health and to be there for the people who are struggling with it. Every week we would have meetings to learn how to look for warning signs and help the people who are struggle.
