About
My name is Wendy Stocker, and I am a junior at Oklahoma State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. I am a first-generation college student and the first person in my family to attend college. My educational journey represents my dedication, perseverance, and commitment to personal and professional growth.
I have more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, where I have developed skills in healthcare administration, human resources, employee supervision, patient services, insurance claims processing, administrative support, and communication. My professional experiences have given me a strong understanding of the importance of leadership, teamwork, compassion, and effective communication in creating successful healthcare environments.
As I continue my education, my goal is to become a healthcare administrator where I can combine my real-world healthcare experience with the knowledge and leadership skills I am gaining through my degree program. I am passionate about improving healthcare organizations, supporting healthcare professionals, and helping ensure patients receive quality, compassionate care.
I am proud to be a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and HonorSociety.org. These organizations reflect my commitment to academic achievement, leadership development, and lifelong learning. I believe that success comes from hard work, continuous growth, and the willingness to serve others.
My journey has taught me that it is never too late to pursue your goals. I am committed to using my education, experience, and leadership abilities to make a positive impact in healthcare and inspire others to believe in their own potential.

My intended job path is to become a Healthcare Administrator. I plan to use my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, along with my more than 30 years of healthcare experience, to help lead healthcare organizations and improve the quality of care provided to patients. My goal is to move into a leadership role where I can support healthcare professionals, improve organizational operations, and create positive healthcare environments built on teamwork, compassion, and accountability.

My graduate school interests are focused on further developing my knowledge and leadership skills in healthcare administration. I am interested in pursuing advanced education that will prepare me to take on greater responsibilities within healthcare organizations and continue growing as a healthcare leader.
My goal is to expand my understanding of healthcare management, organizational leadership, human resources, healthcare policy, and strategies for improving patient care. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, I want to combine my professional background with advanced education to become a more effective administrator who can positively impact both healthcare professionals and the patients they serve.
