Goals and interests
- Career goal
As a freshman in college, I am still uncertain as to what I would like to do for the rest of my life. I have, however, narrowed it down to do enticing occupation fields: Journalism and High School-level English Education. I have a fascination for writing and the impact it can have on society and individuals of society.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to attend grad school, but not at Auburn University. I am currently an out-of-state student paying out-of-state tuition. My intention is to attend graduate school in Georgia where I am from so as to save some money on my education and search for a job simultaneously.
- Outside the classroom
I am a very headstrong person, therefore I spend a lot of time studying trying to further my education as much as possible, but whenever I happen to have free time, I have a variety of things that bring a smile to my day. First off, I love to cook. I love experimenting in the kitchen and discovering delicious items to add to my holiday menus. I love to work out, be it at the gym or on a long nature hike; I love to explore and get some exercise. I am a crafty person; I am always creating things. If you catch me at school, you will not see me without a decorated binder or a home-made scarf. I love to try new things (is that a hobby?); I find it very rewarding to veer outside the lines and conquer a new challenge: visit a battleship from WWII, volunteer at a charity for a day, dye my hair because I'm bored, random stuff like that to keep life exciting. As you can probably tell, I am very busy doing both productive and fun things. I find that a wholesome way to live life.
