Nicole Hernandez

My name is Nicole Morgan Hernandez. I am a sophomore attending Fort Hays State University in Hays Kansas. My major is Art Education and I am also looking at getting a masters degree in Special Ed. I spend my summers working at a camp for special needs children back in Wichita Kansas. This upcoming summer of 2015 will be my fifth summer of working as a staff member for the camp. I plan on continuing my work there until I graduate and really enjoy the relationships I have made with the children who attend. After graduating, I plan on moving back to Wichita to start my career as a High School Art Teacher. I've always loved art and enjoy teaching kids how to make use of their talents in art. My art has excelled with the help of FHSU professors and have so far achieved receiving all A's in my art classes. I am a hard worker, who loves working with children and look forward to setting new goals for my future.
