About
My coursework consists of business related classes at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana; however, I grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. My mom and dad are both educators. My dad is a school counselor and my mom also teaches middle school students. My sister graduated from Malone University in Canton, Ohio and she now resides in Boswell, Pennsylvania where she is employed with Summers Best 2 Weeks, a summer camp for children ages 8-18. I have decided to study business, management, marketing and areas of finance, which will give me a firm foundation for a spectrum of careers. Because I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, I am very interested in the athletic industry. From apparel for fans to safety equipment for the athletes themselves, I am interested in each facet of the business. Playing soccer with the IU Hoosiers has given me valuable experiences. Each person I have encountered has contributed to the success of the program and the individual players. Watching the men's soccer team take the field with honor is the result of many hours of preparation. Yes, from the team, but additionally from the coaches, athletic trainers, equipment and grounds managers, ...and the list goes on. It's so intriguing thinking that one day, I may have the opportunity to manage an organization for success similar to the IU Hoosiers Men's Soccer Team.
