About

I attended high school at Latexo High School in Latexo, Texas. I took several honors and advanced classes every year, resulting in an early graduation after three years. I graduated at 16 years old with 18 dual credit hours. I completed a year at Blinn Junior College in College Station, Texas before transferring to Stephen F. Austin. My projected graduation is December of 2016.

For the past three years I spend my summers volunteering at Waters Edge Encampment Christain Camp in Crockett, Texas. Responsibilities include cleaning cabins, being a small group leader, and participating on the rec team for the students. This previous summer I traveled across the state and even some in Oklahoma volunteering with various summer camps.

During high school I held an internship with a local newspaper where I wrote and edited articles regarding my high school and other local activities. Additionally I won a state title in 2012 for Current Events and Issues (CE&I) with UIL. Individually I placed at Regionals in Informative speaking and CE&I.
