About
I have had a career with Christensen Farms working with hog management and care. I worked there for a summer and plan on going back again this coming summer. Along with this I also raise my own line of show sheep. This is a self run business that is controlled completely by myself. I do everything from grooming, feeding rations, and basic to advanced care. I also have begun my own cattle line as well although this is just a beginning project seeing as I just got my first heifer in 2014. I do everything with the heifer as well.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended Job Path is to become an artificial insemination technician. I have not decided if I want to do the actual insemination or work more in the lab doing genetic research.
- Outside the classroom
I spend much of my time working at the hog farm. Along with this I work hard getting my lambs ready for the Iowa State fair all summer. This is my passion and what I love to do. When my heifer and sheep are being bred I am continuously focused on finding new and better ways to manage my farms. I played soccer, basketball, football, and ran track for my high school. I also have a passion for reading and finding out new ideas I did not know about. I also love watching movies especially ones based off of true stories. History would be my second major option but have decided Animal Science is more of my calling.
