Overview

Honor Society® is a national academic and professional society that recognizes students and alumni across a broad range of disciplines. The stated mission of the organization is to support members in pursuing academic excellence, leadership development, and career advancement. Honor Society® functions as a membership-based community with a national and international presence, offering programs and resources intended to assist members in strengthening their academic and professional profiles.

The organization provides a digital platform through which members can highlight educational achievements, connect with peers and professionals, and access tools related to personal, academic, and career development. These may include résumé guidance, graduate school preparation tools, career planning resources, networking opportunities, and member-specific discounts. The society also facilitates recognition experiences such as membership certificates and optional graduation regalia, including honor cords, stoles, and medallions.

Scholarship access is an additional component of the organization’s programming. Honor Society® provides internal scholarship opportunities—offered publicly and varying each year based on available funding and application volume—and maintains a publicly accessible directory of external, third-party scholarships that students may explore and apply to independently.

Honor Society® maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) as a BBB-accredited business.

Experiential Learning

The society supports experiential learning by coordinating periodic member trips, leadership programs, and educational events. These opportunities are intended to complement academic study through cultural engagement, professional development, and networking. Events are typically scheduled during academic breaks to allow for broader student participation.

Recognition

Honor Society® provides both physical and digital avenues for academic and professional recognition. Members may obtain graduation regalia and may create online profiles that highlight academic achievements, skills, and professional experience. Recognition tiers based on GPA are available and serve as an additional distinction for qualifying members.

Career Development

The organization offers career management tools that assist members in researching industries, exploring job and internship opportunities, and preparing for professional advancement. Members may build detailed online profiles to align their academic backgrounds, experiences, and interests with relevant opportunities. Honor Society® collaborates with career-focused resources, including industry guides and employer information, to support members in evaluating potential career pathways.

Scholarship Opportunities

Honor Society® administers several internal scholarship programs that vary annually depending on available funding and application volume. These awards are intended to support educational and professional pursuits and may include scholarships for undergraduate achievement, graduate achievement, community service, and member recognition.
