Midas software for prestressed concrete bridges using LRFD Specs
I am researching and learning to use Midas software for bridge analysis. It is a great product because you can choose your materials, different types of loads and analyze the structure. I will be giving a presentation on this product for my Senior Seminar Class at Ohio University. It's good to know how to do the equations but to be able to switch the bridge characteristics and see instantaneously how they affect the bridge is quite amazing and helpful.
Finding efficient ways to improve our work as Civil Engineers is important as well as embracing technology.
