Honor Society® Expert FAQ

How does Honor Society® membership work?

Honor Society® participation begins with a free account. You can review scholarships, educational content, and available services, then decide whether Professional Track™, an optional paid upgrade, fits your needs. Academic recognition, scholarship eligibility, and access to individual benefits have separate requirements.

Move from registration to a useful next step

Register through the official website and keep your account details accurate. Then choose the activity you want to pursue. An award application requires checking that award’s rules; a career service may have its own access instructions. Registering does not automatically qualify you for every program.

If you choose Professional Track, review the benefits, recurring price, and renewal terms shown for your option. Current paid options renew every six months until canceled. The published cancellation policy explains how to stop renewal, what happens to access, and how to request help.

Put the answer into practice

  • Create or sign in to your account through the official site.
  • Choose one scholarship, learning, or career goal.
  • Read the relevant program’s rules before starting.
  • Compare optional upgrades only when their additional benefits fit your plans.
  • Keep your account and renewal information available for reference.

Use the requirements page for academic recognition questions and the membership comparison for benefit access. If your account displays something you do not understand, ask Member Services to clarify the specific status or subscription rather than guessing.
