About (Summary)

My goal over the next two years is to become a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University (JMU). I thrive when working alongside and for other people. I feel a responsibility to use my education to respond to global health needs, both in my community and in underdeveloped countries, which is why I am thrilled to be one of eleven JMU students accepted to study abroad this summer in Kenya offering free clinics to children and learning with Kenyan nursing students.
