About

I am a dedicated, highly motivated Registered Nurse with the exceptional ability to care for patients clinically. I am completing my Master's of Science degree in nursing with training as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have excelled in my pediatric rotation in an urban pediatric urgent care center. I will be taking two supplemental courses this summer. One course on public policy and a second course on project development and grant writing. I feel these course will add vital knowledge for a nurse that desires to work in public/global health.
I have continued my academics at Pace while working full-time as a Ventricular Assist Device Program Coordinator at Mount Sinai as well as being a full-time Graduate Assistant, working as a TA with faculty professors.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to start working in the community as a Family NP. My training will allow me to care for all persons from birth to elderly. I have a particular interest in public health.

Graduate school interests

My interests include community general pediatric care, public health care, global health care.

Outside the classroom

Extracurricular hobbies include photography, participating in triathlons, playing guitar and learning the ukulele as well as some travel with friends and family around continental US and International travel.
