Graduate Student Achiever Scholarship requirements
Connect your graduate education with the contribution you hope to make. Share your accomplishments, the work you are pursuing, and the goals your studies support.
Who can apply?
- Be a graduate student.
- The award recognizes academic achievement and broader accomplishments; applications are open to eligible graduate students.
- Applicants should be comfortable providing a video and/or written testimonial about their program and the scholarship.
Your application checklist
- Your academic program & achievements. Summarize your current program and achievements to date, including academic, professional, and personal accomplishments, honors, and awards.
- A response of up to 500 words. Explain how your studies relate to your life and/or goals.
- Your current GPA & transcript. An unofficial transcript is accepted when applying. The selected recipient must provide an official transcript before scholarship disbursement.
The application asks you to complete your Honor Society profile and upload a headshot. Have your school, email, and phone details ready.
Explain the purpose behind your graduate work
Describe your program clearly and select achievements that show your progress. Where relevant, include research, professional practice, leadership, or service. Explain how this work connects with your life or career goals without assuming the reader specializes in your field.
How to apply

Sign in before you start
Open the Graduate Achiever application and sign in or register before entering answers. Signing in after completing the form can cause your answers to be lost.

Prepare your materials
Draft your program and achievement summary, then your response of up to 500 words. Gather your GPA and transcript. Complete your profile and upload a headshot. Keep a separate copy of your work.

Review & submit
Check your responses, contact details, and attachments. Submit through the application form by the displayed deadline and keep a copy of your materials.
Selection & announcement timeline
Rolling monthly deadlines on the 14th. Prepare early so you can submit a complete, thoughtful application.
How applications are evaluated
The scholarship committee evaluates academic achievement—including GPA, honors, and awards—and holistic factors such as leadership and community service. Applications are scored using a rubric. If applicants are tied, the winner is selected at random from the tied applicants. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee selection.
When recipients hear back
- Within 3 weeks of selection: selected recipients can first expect to hear from Honor Society.
- Within 6 weeks: recipients are publicly announced on the website, in the monthly newsletter, and through social media.
- Up to 3 months after submission: your application remains under consideration. You may submit an updated application after 3 or more months.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible applications received and the comparative strength of the applications. No minimum or maximum number of awards is guaranteed.
