About (Summary)

Greetings to you all! I am the eldest child of three children and come from Pacific Islander and Hispanic descent. I have several key experiences that have shaped my character and life. In 2014, I completed 56 weeks of military training that bestowed invaluable traits I will carry on for the rest of my life. In summer 2015, I was blessed with the opportunity to intern as an undergraduate researcher at Harvard University, where I learned anything is possible. This summer I will be traveling to Africa to conduct clinical research in the population of Cameroon, where I finally can put my dreams into reality. These experiences influenced my decision to play an active role in both my academic and community settings by taking on leadership positions for professional development and community outreach. I believe I am fit to be in the honor society because I am part of the group seeking to change the world.
