About (Summary)

I am a junior at Bishop O'Dowd High School. My main academic goal has always been to challenge myself. Each year I have taken the most challenging courses available, while still maintaining a 4.0 unweighted GPA. This year I am tackling AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP English Language and Composition, Honors Spanish 3, and US History. For the past three years, I have taken classes over the summer. These include an introduction to high school English and Geometry, Accelerated Algebra 2, and Christian Morality Online. These last two classes have helped me complete credits that I would otherwise be required to complete during the school year, allowing me to take more advanced courses during the semester.

Hobbies

On a cold rainy day, nothing sounds better than reading one of my favorite books while covered in a warm blanket. I find science and math books extremely engaging, some of my favorites being "Survival of the Sickest" and "Toms: River a Story of Science and Salvation". I also love to read a great novel, no matter the genre. My favorite novels include "Jane Eyre", "Three Dark Crowns", and "Manhattan Beach". When the weather permits, I enjoy being outdoors. I like going to soccer and cross-country practices, or simply playing soccer or running on my own. I delight in going on hikes or to the beach with my family.
