About
My name is Henry DiClementi and I am a student at grand valley state University. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and have always loved the state of Michigan which is how I found my way to Grand Valley. During my first year at GV I joined Colleges Against Cancer and was a committee member for relay for life. I was passionate about this club because of my battle with cancer, during my first few years of high school, and this club really brought the best out of that situation that I was fortunate enough to come out of. Colleges Against Cancer has introduced me to so many great people and it really got me involved at Grand Valley.

JFK Award for Courage
After two years of cancer treatment and being completeley absent from highschool for those two years, I caught up on all school work and graduated on time and was awarded the JFK award of my graduating class.

Memeber of the National Geographic Society
Studied with National Geographic Expeditions , where I studied plants of the south west with a Native American guide.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to be a Journalist covering a wide range of topics. I am very interested in human rights and would love to report on that all across the world.
- Outside the classroom
I am passionate about botany, love growing plants.
I also enjoy fishing and canoeing.
