About

When my oldest daughter was diagnosed with pervasive development disorder, I was introduced to a teacher that helped not only my daughter but me as well. Watching her help my daughter through the school year was amazing. That was the moment I realized I wanted to be a teacher I wanted to help children learn and grow while helping parents also. Throughout my education classes I have fallen in love with trying to reach each child in the classroom. I have learned so many approaches to reaching students. I use them when I sub. I am currently working on a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I hope to improve my skills to reach all the students in my classroom to make learning relevant to their lives.
