About
My name is Zymirr, and I am a senior at Lucy C. Laney High School, Class of 2027. I am a hardworking, determined, and respectful young man who believes in never giving up, no matter what challenges life brings.
I have been involved in marching band for six years, where I play the sousaphone. I have also participated in the Kappa League and Auto Club for three years. These experiences have taught me discipline, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and the importance of helping others.
Growing up with a strong, loving single mother and my younger brother has taught me the importance of family, perseverance, and supporting those I love. I have learned that challenges do not define my future; how I respond to them does.
As I prepare to graduate, I look forward to continuing my education, exploring career opportunities, and becoming a successful, independent adult. My goal is to make my family and myself proud, serve others, and create a meaningful future for myself.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career goal is to become a successful, independent, and hardworking young man who makes a positive difference in the world. I am interested in serving my country through the United States Army and exploring career opportunities involving automobiles and technology. Possibly be a underwater welder. I want to continue learning new skills, developing my leadership abilities, and building a stable future. Most importantly, I want to make my family proud and show others that challenges do not have to stop you from achieving your dreams.
- Graduate school interests
As a high school senior, my current focus is graduating in 2027 and continuing my education at the college level. I am interested in programs that will help me develop professional, technical, and leadership skills. Although I have not decided whether I will pursue graduate school, I am open to furthering my education as my career goals develop. I believe education is an important part of creating opportunities for my future.
- Outside the classroom
Outside the classroom, I enjoy music, spending time with my family, and participating in activities that help me grow as a person. I have played in the marching band for six years as a sousaphone player. I have also been involved in Kappa League and Auto Club for three years. These organizations have helped me develop teamwork, discipline, leadership, and responsibility. I enjoy learning about automobiles, helping others, and challenging myself to try new things. I also value being a positive role model for my younger brother and making my mother proud through my accomplishments.
Volunteering
-
Through my involvement in Kappa League and school organizations, I have learned the importance of community service and helping others. I believe volunteering is an opportunity to make a positive difference, develop leadership skills, and give back to the community. I look forward to continuing to participate in service opportunities as I grow.
