The DoD will offer fellowships to individuals who have demonstrated ability and special aptitude for advanced training in science and engineering. National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowships will be awarded for study and research in pursuit of doctoral degrees in mathematical, physical, biological, ocean, and engineering sciences. Preference will be given to applicants who indicate an intention to pursue a doctoral degree in, or closely related to, one of the specialties. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this award. The application deadline is in early January. For more information, please contact the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) by phone at 202-331-3516 or by e-mail at [email protected].
