Adewumi Adeloye

In the last few decades of application of electric power and computer systems engineering to the improvement of living and working conditions, your organization has proven that while it knows how to find success in the present, its greatest concern is the future. I intend contributing qualitatively towards the emergent future.

Over the last 14 years, I have acquired practical experience as an Electric Power Systems Engineer registered as Corporate Member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering practice in Nigeria (COREN). Since his second year as an undergraduate, I have stimulated and sustained an unwavering desire for an optimal and resilient Electric Power System. The desire and preparation for the emergent technological era prompted me to study for, and receive the B.Eng in Electrical Engineering and also earned an M.Eng degree in Electrical Power Systems Engineering, graduating with a CGPA of 4.50/5.00.

In the course of acquiring the bachelors and masters’ degrees, I developed and acquired proficiency in power flow computation and analysis, design and sizing of substation elements, load estimation and forecast, programming languages application, electric power reliability assessment and specialty software support. Over the last eight years, I led a team to render energy solution consultation entailing the deployment of my knowledge on PMP, ETAP, Auto CAD software, Autodesk Inventor, C++, Mat LAB application/training, load/price estimation and forecast along with other intellectual abilities for State Electricity Boards, Business Units of PHCN and individual clients. I am also a lecturer at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti since 2013 until I took a study leave in pursuit of a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Prairie View A & M University, Texas, USA. Presently, there are 11 published conference and journal articles to my credit.

My doctoral research focus at the moment is cyber security deployment for smart grid resilience and protection. Within a space of 7 days, I acquired expertise with the use and deployment of CISCO packet tracer for smart grid and cloud application security design. I also double as sole Graduate Research Assistant on a Shell (USA) funded project, where I presently works toward achieving effective Carbon Sequestration methodologies. This effort serves as a pilot phase of a technological innovation that would eventually make the funding company become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050.
