During summer break, is the best time for students to catch up on some community service hours. Some of the best ways for getting involved is to first find a cause that means something to you. I personally have a love for Autism Speaks. I found this organization from my grandmothers love to work with Autistic children. Listening to all the stories they shared, the art they created and the friendship that blossomed. I soon after also fell in love with working with Autistic children. I find so much joy out of taking a couple hours from my day to sit and just hang out or do arts and crafts with a child who's Autistic. I think that they see a lot of value in you taking the time to get to know them and being their buddy. My whole life I have been a mentor for many girls that I coached gymnastics too. I would love to not only mentor for Autistic children but also help to donate and help find a cure for Autism.  I believe that by giving back you grow in a different way then you might realize.  I think that by finding your niche foundation and volunteer as much as possible, you will blossom into a well-rounded humble person.  Even by finding a cause and just donating a few cents a day can make a huge impact in the long run.  Every pen adds up over time.
