Pick the job that you're going to LOVE

When choosing a profession, most people look for the highest salary. Yes, money is an important factor but is it the most important? Every time I tell someone I want to become an Elementary School Teacher, they ask why and tell me that I won't make any money. Yes, I know that teachers do not make as much money as they deserve, but it's a profession that I want to do. I was told once to choose a job that you will love going to everyday. It won't be a chore and you won't dread it as others dread going to their job. Some people sit in cubicles making a high salary, but they hate it. If money is that important to you, then go right ahead. Since I love kids and teaching, going to my future job wont' be a chore for me. I will wake up every day knowing that I'm going to make a difference in a child's life and that's priceless.
