Honor Society® Expert FAQ
How do you find jobs through campus career services?
Campus career services can help students identify employers, review applications, practice interviews, and navigate recruiting events. Available services and alumni eligibility vary, so check what your institution actually provides.
Ask for help with a specific decision or skill gap
Bring a target job description and your current résumé to an appointment. Ask for specific feedback on how well your evidence matches the role. Career staff may also explain campus recruiting rules, internship-credit procedures, career fairs, and department-specific contacts. They can support your search but cannot guarantee placement.
Combine campus help with other relevant guidance. Honor Society’s career-services page includes mentorship and career preparation options, including Firsthand access through a free account subject to advisor availability. Use feedback to make concrete revisions, then return with a focused follow-up question rather than repeatedly starting from scratch.
Your next steps
- Check eligibility and book an appointment with a clear goal.
- Bring a relevant posting and current application materials.
- Apply the feedback and track the effect on your search.
