My name is Christina Graham and I am a 32 year old married mother to four beautiful boys ages 15, 10, 4 and 2. I currently attend Georgia State University in hopes of earning my Bachelors degree in Nursing. Recently I had to step away from my position as an overnight PCT at my local hospital due to my battle with Multiple Sclerosis. I would work 12 hour overnight shifts so I could work and study while my kids went to school. I would also use time to invest in my education. However, something happened to me the very first time I experienced death as a healthcare worker. I noticed people really had no idea how to help others if it were ever necessary. I would commonly see people scream, cry, fight and even record someone in destress. I saw so much need to learn how I can immediately make a difference? Five weeks later a became a BLS / CPR / AED /FIRSTAID instructor for American Heart Association. My personal battle with MS has left a great deal of uncertainty in my life but if there is one thing I am certain about its that I will continue to save lives. I offer a very discounted rate for all essential workers. I even travel to personally teach classes. I am honored to be able to share this experience with my children and help my community as well. I dream to one day open a school where everyone no matter race, age, gender or experience will learn to save a life!
