Hello all my name is Christina Graham and I am 32 years old . I am a motheer of 4 beautiful boys age 16,10,5 and 3.I am a full time student at Georgia State University! I currently have 36 credits. I hope to become a doctor ( long term) but right now I am pursing a Bachelors degree in nursing. I recently had to leave my job where I worked full time overnight 12hr shifts as a PCT. My main department was inpatient rehab but I would regularly float or pick up extra shifts to make ends meet while going to school and working. I also became a BLS / CPR / AED / FIRST AIDE/ BLOOD BORN PATHOGENS, instructor after feeling the need to want to do more to educate people on how to save a life. I would frequently float to every department such as ER, Surgical, ICU, Medtele, Motherbaby and Sucide watch. The first time I experienced death while working I noticed no one knew what to do. This also goes in our everyday life. People yell, scream, film or even walk away before actually taking action to save someone. I wanted to be able to offer low cost classes to any and everyone that is willing to learn how to save a life. I had to leave my job as I battled with MS ( Muliple Scelorsis). I was diagnosed with MS after temporarily losing my vision in my right eye and feeling in my lower half. I knew something was wrong when I observed similar conditions in my patients that I was going through. I was not physically able to work anymore. My Dr. prescribed me self injections 3 x a week which only made an already bad situation worse. I was 111lbs 3 months ago. I found an MS specialists who saved my life! 2 hospitals stays later, 2 8hr chemo therapy treatments in the middle of a pandemic, while attending college myself, while home schooling 3 children overnight, trying to grow my CPR business which offers online classes to follow CDC guidelines, while this allows me to still support my family. I truly enjoy learning because I have a goal to keep. I will fight my disease it will not fight me ! I will help my community, I never turn a person away from learning how to save a life ! My boys will go to college and I will be the example !!!!!!!!! My CPR website :
