About (Summary)
My goal in life is to be a servant of others. I believe that God has given me the ability to obtain an education that provides me with the skills necessary to help bring those that are ill to a state of better health. I believe that as a nurse it is my duty to advocate for those that are unable to do so independently, and to teach those capable of caring for themselves the knowledge to help them maintain their autonomy with confidence.

Grad School Interests
Although I have been actively researching various graduate schools in order to continue my education, I have not yet solidified my decision on which school I plan to attend. I have had a wonderful experience at the University of Texas El Paso and would love to continue my education with them in the future.
Intended Job Path
My desire is to continue with my nursing education in order to learn the appropriate skills to one day to gain my doctorate. I currently work as a registered nurse in the float pool. I plan to join the United States Air Force as a Commissioned Officer with my BSN and become a flight nurse. During my time in the United States military I would like to continue my education while serving my country.

Hobbies
I have always enjoyed school. Although most would not consider studying something to be enjoyed, it has always brought me great pleasure and relaxation. I also enjoy singing, reading, learning new languages, boating, riding my motorcycle, and learning new marksmanship with various weapons. I take great pleasure spending time with my 5 children and my husband when I am not working.
