Marshall Scholarship

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom higher education system. The scholarships can be used at any British Marshall University and cover two years of study in any discipline at either the undergraduate or graduate level, leading to the award of a British university degree. The award will cover university fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States and, where applicable, a contribution toward the support of a dependent spouse. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, must hold an undergraduate degree by the time of the award, and must have obtained a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 after their freshman year and not have studied for or hold a degree or degree-equivalent qualification from a British university. This scholarship requires a university nomination and has a campus deadline in early April.
