"Education Prepares One to Face the Challenges of Life by Bringing out the best in Him/Her..."

Apr 29,2015

To share a little more about myself again, my name is Octavia Bennett, and I am a senior public relations student from Sanford, Fla. I currently live in Tallahassee, where I attend Florida A&M University's School of Journalism and Graphic Communication. I am a member of  PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) chapter on campus as well as the national chapter. I am also a student activist who is highly involved in social issues regarding equality for all. However, my biggest goal is to change the world through education and philanthropy.

There was one motto that I read from Christ University that will forever stick with me and it was "Education prepares one to face the challenges of life by bringing out the best of him or her. If this is well accepted, education should be relevant to the needs of the time and address the problems of the day." My objective in life is to combine my passion for helping others with my skills of problem-solving to assist organizations and companies that promote education in academics, health awareness, entrepreneurship, or public policy and safety.

So I'm sure you can guess  now what at least two topics of my blog will be about, but just incase you don't, it's philanthropy and education. I plan to enlighten my readers about useful tools and resources that can be used in the journey of learning and education, as well as encouraging them on the importance of philanthropy and community servitude. Both can be very rewarding, and I want to showcase that.

One of the greatest accomplishments in life is the impact you've had on others, as well as the knowledge you've acquired while here on this earth, it makes life worth it.

Another thing you can be sure to find on my blog is the current hot topics, the "in-the-know." There's a new story each second of the day waiting to be captured, so that's why I'm here.

My college career has given me a platform to do what I love and that's what inspired me to join the ride in becoming a writing intern for the HonorSociety.org, hope you enjoy the ride with me.
