Honor Society Ring Size Measuring Tool
Three ways to find your size at home: measure a ring that already fits, print the sizer and measure your finger, or wrap a strip of paper around your finger and measure that. All three end at one of the 24 US sizes below.
Turn a measurement into a size

Start with what you have

A ring that already fits
Measure straight across the inside of the ring, at its widest point. That number is an inside diameter, and it is the first column of the chart.

A printer
Print the sizer at 100% and measure your finger against it. It is the only part of this tool that is drawn at a true size.

A strip of paper and a ruler
Wrap the strip snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against the ruler. Its length is your circumference.
Print the sizer, then measure your finger
Print it at 100%. If your printer scales it to fit the page — "fit to page", "shrink to fit" — every size on the sheet comes out wrong.
- For accuracy, please make sure that you print this PDF at 100%.
- Determine which finger you would like to wear the ring on.
- Measure the chosen finger at its widest point between the lines.
- Double check to be sure the widest point of your finger is inside the lines.

- This printable ring measuring tool serves as a guide to help you size your finger at home.
- If your finger is between two sizes, select the larger size.
- Ensure that your hand is not swollen, sweaty or cold during sizing as this may change your size. It is best for your hand to be dry and warm during the sizing process.
- Best would be to size in a room temperature setting. The most accurate way to measure your size is using a metal sizer via a jeweler or jewelry repair shop.
