I am currently a second-year graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I am also a full-time curriculum coordinator at a preschool in Northwest Austin, and currently filling in for the rest of the school year as the lead teacher in a Pre-K classroom. As a curriculum coordinator, I oversee lesson planning and implementation, and assist the director in the day-to-day operations of the school. Being in graduate school and working full-time has gone hand in hand for me, as I am able to apply many concepts and discussions from class directly to my work (and vice versa).
