About

Aspiring nurse with a heart for healing and a calling to serve. I believe nursing is more than a profession; it’s a divine assignment to be present for others in their most vulnerable moments. Inspired by faith, family, and the quiet strength of those who came before me, I strive to be a vessel of compassion, care, and light wherever I go.

As someone who listens deeply, gives generously, and brings light into the spaces I enter, I aim to reflect grace and purpose in all that I do. I believe in leading with heart, learning with intention, and lifting others as I climb. As a proud member of the Honor Society, I’m honored to walk this journey with fellow scholars who value excellence, service, and a higher calling to uplift and impact the world around us.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to pursue a career as a registered nurse, with long-term goals of working in a setting that allows me to provide both medical care and emotional support to diverse patient populations. My passion lies in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, especially during critical or transitional moments in people’s lives. Whether in hospitals, clinics, or community-based environments, I hope to serve as a consistent, empathetic presence for those in need. In the future, I also plan to explore advanced practice roles or specialized fields within nursing that align with my strengths in advocacy, mentorship, and holistic care.

Graduate school interests

I plan to pursue graduate studies to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), specializing in the care of critically ill and premature newborns. This path aligns deeply with my passion for nurturing life at its most fragile stage and supporting families during emotionally complex times. In the long run, I aspire to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, not only to advance clinical expertise, but to mentor, teach, and empower the next generation of nurses. For me, graduate education is more than a milestone; it’s a stepping stone toward becoming a leader who gives back, builds others up, and helps shape the future of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Outside the classroom

I love learning new languages because it challenges my mind and opens doors to different cultures. Baking and crocheting are my creative outlets, they bring me joy and a sense of accomplishment with every project or batch of goodies. Journaling helps me reflect and stay grounded, allowing me to process my thoughts and track my growth. Being in nature, whether at the beach, by a river, or hiking a trail, helps me feel calm and connected to the world around me. I also treasure spending quality time with loved ones, as those moments remind me of the importance of support, laughter, and meaningful connection. Together, these hobbies keep me balanced, inspired, and energized.
