About
My name is Abbigail Tyler, and I live in a small town in mid-state New York. I am going to school to pursue the career of special effects makeup and practical effects. I love to draw, and I have a passion for films.

2nd Place - Yates County Art Center - Drawing
May - 2014 - Received second placed in the entire art show. The art piece was a ZenTangle Dragon, pencil/pen medium.

3rd Place/Honorable Mention - Yates County Art Center - Photography
April 2016 - Received third place and an honorable mention on two digital photographs, both edited in Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope to make it into the film industry, possibly even Hollywood to work on the more famous blockbusters, but I know stepping stones are needed. I would also love to work for a FX company or supply chain.
- Graduate school interests
I loved my art and English classes the most in High School, especially in my senior year taking Science Fiction and Dystopian fiction. I was in Debate Club for two years, and also loved my history classes.
- Outside the classroom
I love too draw, in the tradition and digital mediums. I have been progressing to improve on sculpting, and trying different casting methods, such as plaster, latex, and resin. My favorite things to draw are dragons and scientific creatures, original designs and so on. I also like to write in the down time, when I have nothing to do, and read a book here and there. When I'm not doing that, I love to watch movies. I have a passion for films and how they're made.
