Abdourahman Dukuray

My name is Abdourahman Dukuray; I am a Gambian national of a very humble background; my parents are subsistence rural farmers and I managed to acquire my primary and secondary school education through the benevolence of friends and relatives. It is practically impossible for me to obtain a college or university degree without a financial assistance. I am particularly motivated to pursue further education by my strong desire to remedy not only my situation but also the lot of rural children in my country in similar circumstances—and the world as a whole.
