About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University (USA) specializing in power electronics and control of distributed energy resources (DERs). My research centers on efficient smoothing of renewable-energy variability and uncertainty using battery-energy-storage systems (BESS) via adaptive and intelligent control (e.g., adaptive ramp-rate control for PV-BESS). Beyond power systems, I bring a strong wireless communication background, including kriging-based VHF/UHF radio-propagation modeling for spectrum planning and coverage optimization. I hold M.Eng. and B.Eng. degrees (top 5%) from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and I am a Fellow of NIPES, and a member of IEEE and NSPE (USA). My peer-reviewed publications span IoT-enabled transformer monitoring & loss-of-life estimation, radio-propagation/path-loss prediction, and techno-economic PV sizing for grid-tied consumers, alongside my work on ARRC for PV-BESS. My goal is to bridge rigorous research with practical deployment toward a sustainable, intelligent, and reliable energy future.
