I am Abhilash Akula, a dedicated and highly skilled computer science professional with experience in research, data analysis, and big data technologies. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at Saint Louis University, where I am proud to hold a perfect GPA of 4.00/4.00. In the past, I completed my Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India, with a commendable GPA of 7.00/10.00.

Technical Skills:
I possess strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, and Typescript, and I am well-versed in various big data technologies, including Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL, Apache Spark, MapReduce, and Hive. Additionally, I am proficient in BI tools like MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, and Easytrieve. Professional Experience:

As a Research Assistant at Saint Louis University, St. Louis, USA (Feb 2023– July 2023), I have proven my expertise as a research assistant and data analyst, specializing in analyzing Electronic Health Records (EHR) data using SSMS. My responsibilities involve collaborating with research teams, interpreting data, preparing reports, and ensuring data integrity through quality checks and cleaning. Additionally, I handle data uploading, write queries for data extraction, and make significant contributions to various research projects.

During my time as a Teaching Assistant at Saint Louis University, St. Louis, USA (Jan 2023– May 2023), I had the opportunity to assist with a Big Data course, which covered essential topics like Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, Tableau, and Power BI. My role included developing and maintaining course materials, conducting lab sessions, and providing valuable guidance and mentorship to the students.

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Pvt LTD, Hyderabad, India (Oct 2020– Jul 2022), I worked as a data analyst, specializing in the analysis of databases and data systems. I excelled in assessing data quality, filtering data, and creating dynamic workflows using various data sources. My expertise also extended to resolving production environment issues and designing, developing, testing, and deploying new reports using MSTR Developer.

During my Internship at Infosys Solutions Pvt LTD, Mysore, India (Jan 2020– Mar 2020), I gained hands-on experience in the software development life cycle, where I actively contributed to building web applications using JavaScript, HTML/CSS. I also showcased my proficiency in SQL databases and advanced SSMS features.

I am proud to have made notable contributions to research and academic publications. I participated in the International Conference on Computer Networks, Big Data, and IoT (ICCBI - 2018). Furthermore, my work on the Biometric Voting System was published as a book by Lambert Academic Publishing.
