Outside the classroom: I have a deep passion for horses. I learned to ride even before I could speak in full sentences. I work with a local equine rescue organization, where I assist with barn chores and help with the rehabilitation and rehoming of horses. I am a very outdoorsy person and love to explore with my dogs. We love to go up to Mt. Hood and hike. Additionally, I’ve recently begun exploring nature photography, a new interest I’ve started pursuing over the past few months.
