About
I am currently a first year student at the University of Iowa who is studying biomedical engineering.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I would really like to start my career off doing research, beginning with through the university then eventually through a company once I graduate.
Sometime during my next four years at the University of Iowa I would like to participate in an internship for a semester which would give me real life experience and give me a better understanding of what I would be doing once I graduate.- Graduate school interests
I plan on taking advantage of the University of Iowa's 5 year fast track program. This should allow me to graduate with a masters degree in only one additional year after acquiring my bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering.
- Outside the classroom
I find my school work takes up a lot of time but when I get some to spare I really enjoy: competitive swimming, golfing, astronomy, giving back to the community, watching some netfix, listening to some music on spotify, and discovering new foods to try.
