About
My name is Abigail Ragonesi and I am currently attending Western Oregon Unviversity as a junior to pursue my dream career interpreting. My major is Interpreting with a focus in ASL and my minor is ASL Studies. I am 21 years old and I use any pronouns as I identify as agender.
I live in the small town of Stanwood, Washington so I'm traveling out of state in order to recieve the best education possible.
My inspiration to work hard and achieve my goals is not only so I can support my future partner and family, but also because I recieve great pleasure and enjoyment learning about ASL and the Deaf community and I dream of a world where everyone has equal access to the resources around them.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is ASL/English interpreting. Specifically my goal is to interpret for concerts and theatres, but I also am willing to try other fields such as schools, news, personal interpreting, VRI, etc.
- Graduate school interests
As for grad school I am planning on working several years in the interpreting field before I go back to finish up grad school.
- Outside the classroom
My favorite activities to do are creative writing, drawing, and occasionally learning dance choreographies. When the weather is nice outside I love to go biking, hiking, and taking walks on nature trails. I also enjoy learning languages, so aside from my ASL courses I have been teaching myself Spanish and Korean at home.
