Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to become a mechanical engineer or construction project manager, specializing in designing, building, and managing innovative infrastructure projects. I plan to work for leading engineering and construction firms, where I can help create sustainable transportation systems, smart buildings, and resilient public spaces that serve communities in need. Long-term, my goal is to launch my own engineering and construction firm dedicated to revitalizing underserved neighborhoods bringing new opportunities, safer facilities, and equitable access to resources for people who have often been overlooked. I also hope to mentor and hire young talent from diverse backgrounds, making the field more inclusive and impactful for future generations.

Graduate school interests

After completing my undergraduate degree, I am interested in pursuing graduate studies in either mechanical engineering, construction management, or business administration (MBA). Graduate school would allow me to deepen my technical knowledge, develop advanced leadership skills, and specialize in sustainable design and urban planning. I am particularly interested in programs that focus on innovative construction technologies, project management, and the integration of smart systems into urban infrastructure. Ultimately, grad school will position me to lead large-scale projects, drive positive change, and become an expert and advocate for equitable community development.

Outside the classroom

Playing sports (track, soccer, basketball), building digital projects, engineering design, gaming, traveling, exploring new ideas, and mentoring others in STEM and business.
