About

I am a graduate student at the Missouri School of Journalism studying strategic communication. I work at the University of Missouri International Center as a communication graduate assistant. I help provide content and manage social media. I also create marketing materials to promote study aboard programs and International Center resources.

Before attending the University of Missouri, I received my  bachelor's degree at Westminster College in International Studies and Spanish. While at Westminster I played college Tennis and had leadership roles in the International Club and the African Union. Additionally, I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain for a semester (four months).  During my time in Spain, I volunteered at Hospital General Universitario de Valencia through ISA. I mainly worked with children recovering from sicknesses and surgery.

Goals and interests

Outside the classroom

In my spare time, I enjoy working on Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects like creating desks, shelves, and patio furniture. I also love visiting art exhibits and reading a good book. I am extremely passionate about anything at involves creative strategic thinking. Additionally, and this might be obvious, but I love to travel and learn about different cultures.
