About
I am currently retired from the City of Deltona Fire Department where I had 25 year’s seniority and was in the position of Division Chief. I am currently a Firefighter Paramedic with the City of Daytona Beach Shores and also an adjunct Fire Science Instructor with Daytona State College retired with over 20 years instructing. My experience in the fire services has rewarded me with an opportunity to share to students and fellow co-workers alike a learning environment that stems from experience, through education, training and feedback from the others. I also have State of Florida certifications in other realms of the fire service such as fire inspection, hazardous materials, fire investigation, technical rescue, flight medicine and many others.
In my positions of Division Chief, Firefighter and Fire Science Instructor, I maintain a professional attitude towards the emergency service, personnel and the community alike. I believe through safety and education we can provide top quality services to our customers and fellow employees regardless of the incident, at anytime, and any place. Having the training and right tools for the specific situation whether classroom or practical based can make all the difference in the world.
