Addison Nelson

My name is Addison Nelson. I am a senior at Parker HS in Janesville WI. I currently have a 4.0 GPA with academic excellence high honors every semester. I also have received the AP Scholar with honor award in 2023. In the fall, I plan to attend UW Madison to pursue a major in kinesiology with minors in Biocore (a biology honors program) and Spanish. From there, I plan to go on to medical school to study either sports medicine or rheumatology. During my high school career, I held a position as secretary of the science national honor society. I am also a member of the national honor society, Spanish national honor society, school district of Janesville research institute, student leadership council, and Parker parent teacher association. I have played on Parker’s varsity fast pitch softball team for the past 3 years and will hold the position of team captain for my 4th and final year. Outside of school, I am involved in my photography business and hold 2 summer jobs, one with my father supporting his lawn care business and one with Geronimo sports and entertainment group where I was recently promoted to supervisor and was recognized as an exemplary employee. Last summer I also finished my last year with travel softball after 10 years.
