Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to pursue a career in forensic pathology, a specialized field at the intersection of medicine and criminal Justice. My goal is to become a medical examiner who investigates cause of death through autopsies, medical analysis, and collaboration with law enforcement. I’m passionate about uncovering the truth through science and using my skills to serve Justice and help families find answers. This career path combines my deep interest in human biology, problem-solving, and public service.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to attend medical school with a focus on pathology, followed by a residency in anatomic and forensic pathology. I’m particularly interested in programs that offer clinical training, opportunities for autopsy experience, and exposure to forensic casework. I’m also drawn to research in areas like trauma analysis, toxicology, and the role of pathology in criminal investigations. Ultimately, I hope to join a program that prepares me for a career as a forensic pathologist serving in a medical examiner’s office or related forensic institution.
- Outside the classroom
Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring a variety of creative and hands-on hobbies. I love reading— especially classic literature that challenges my thinking or teach me something new— and I’m passionate about forensic science, specifically pathology. I enjoy volunteering, especially in ways that can help others or give back to my community. In my free time, I like to learn about new topics, listening to music, and staying active. I’m always looking for ways to grow, whether that’s through a good book, a new skill, or meaningful conversations.
