I would first want to start out perfecting my reporting by staying in Atlanta. Getting on the politics desk and getting familiarized with how Georgia politics works would help me tremendously on the national desk.

After that, I would love to transition into covering the Southeast as a whole, and how the actions here are setting the stage for larger issues nationally. From there, I would become a White House correspondent.

If I were to go to grad school, my main interests would be on honing in on policy reporting. Going to the White House, interacting with the community and delving into how policy directly and indirectly impacts citizens would be what I would focus on.

I would love to do a project on the effects of the housing market and how that has disproportionately affected Black communities, and what policies are, or are not, being passed down to help alleviate the situation.

Outside of work and studies, I love to write fiction, go for walks, indulge in the art of fashion and watch television.
