I am currently a Senior at Chino Hills High School, in California. I will be graduating in May 2021 and will embark on my next phase in life at a prestigious university in the Fall. During my last three years at Chino Hills High School, besides being an AP/Honor student, I was involved in various activities in school such as soccer and theatre, as well as being a student leader. I also took opportunities to be a volunteer in different activities within my neighborhood; such as park clean ups, handing water for the marathon runner, feeding the homeless, etc. All these activities I was a part of the last three years allowed me to connect with many people of all ages, who have taught me many important lessons about life; 1.What the important things are in life? 2.How to pursue happiness in life? 3. How to value the most important people in your life? And here is my response to these three questions, 1. The most important thing in my life is my own health and safety. 2. Happiness to me is when I want something and I achieve it through hard work, perseverance and dedication . I consider myself a happy person because I worked hard throughout my last three years to maintain a good GPA while balancing other commitments. I am also blessed to be surrounded by a caring family. 3. Not only do I value my parents and brother, I also had my loving grandparents that raised me into the person I am today. School has also allowed me to be connected with people of different backgrounds and create bonds that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I value my parents, family and my friends immensely. I want to pursue political science for my undergrad then take the LSAT to enter into a law school. The next 5 years years will be challenging yet, one step closer to my life time dream to become a lawyer and serve justice to the underprivileged community. Having immigrant parents opened my eyes to all the injustice in the world, and I want to be able to help people who need it most and ultimately be their voice.
