Volunteer - Fundraiser I've organized two fundraisers for Defend the Fatherless over the past few years. I collected socks, shoes and pajamas, or cash to purchase those items. Over the course of both fundraisers, I was able to donate several hundred pairs of socks, dozens of pajamas and a handful of shoes. I also helped paint dozens of canvas shopping bags for kids who come and shop at the Foster Closet.
