About

Ever since I could remember I have had an intoxicating passion and infatuation for art and education. At first my art originated from graffiti at an early age, however, it wasn’t until college when I was profoundly impacted by inspiring professors at Seattle Central College which was when my art really began to excel. I then came to the sudden realization that I needed a positive outlet where I can channel my artistic skill and knowledge into something that I am passionate about while making the world a better place!
My academic goals are to first obtain my BFA, and then during my MFA I will be pursuing a teaching degree simultaneously. This way I will be able to teach art on a college level which is great because I can teach students who want to be there in comparison to those that have to be there allowing me to impact and inspire students in the same way in which I was.
I have gotten to where I am today solely because of financial aid and the production and distribution of my own art! This entails my solid and efficient work ethic and skill regardless of my financial standpoint because I am the first in my family to graduate high school let alone attend college so I put a lot of pressure on myself to succeed. I believe that at the end of the day you have to do what you’re passionate about regardless of what people or society might tell you. The purpose of life is to thrive.
