About

All my life I've been told by my family and peers that I had a bright future ahead of me. My parents, in particular, would always tell me to value my education, be diligent and disciplined, and to always reach for the stars. As a result of the supportive environment I was raised in, going to college has always been a top priority for me and I was determined to do whatever it took to do so. The reality is, however, most high school and college students I've known don't really know where their future is headed. Many of us are unsure about what we want to pursue as a career and the path we need to take to achieve that goal. My strongest motivating factor for going to college was the fact that people around me were sure that it was the right step for me to take.

I've always had a passion for learning from a very young age and I want to take my education to the next level by continuing to study and research about the topics that truly intrigue me in a safe and academic environment, full of individuals who want to do the same. For these reasons, I believe college would be the perfect place for me to develop as a person and find new passions and interests. However, going to such an influential institution to make my dreams come true is easier said than done as it comes with a price; a very steep price I'm afraid. Affording college is one of those things that seems nearly impossible to me but with help from such kind and wholesome individuals like yourself, that fantasy could become a reality.

Goals and interests

Outside the classroom

I absolutely enjoy reading, drawing, painting, doing origami, and a ton of arts and crafts. I also love going on walks with my dogs, running, lifting weights, playing 8-ball pool, volleyball, basketball, and lots of other sports. In addition, I'm currently learning French and how to play the keyboard.
